Gulabo Sitabo promo: Gulabo and Sitabo are actually goats in the Amitabh Bachchan-Ayushmann Khurrana starrer!

The makers of Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan starrer have revealed that Gulabo and Sitabo are actually goats. Yes, you heard that right. They have released a video in which both the goats are introduced.

Set in Lucknow, Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana will be playing warring men in the film. As you might be aware, the film will release directly on Amazon Prime on June 12.

"This is the dawn of a new era for Indian entertainment," said director, Shoojit Sircar. "I am happy that a global audience will be able to watch our gritty dramedy, and enjoy what the film has in store for them. Gulabo Sitabo is a quirky, light-hearted movie that the audience can enjoy with their families. It has been a wonderful experience working with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana on the film."

While talking to Pinkvilla, he opened up about its online release. He said, "I made Gulabo Sitabo as a cinematic experience. It was the situation that called for a decision like this. So I experimented. I'm happy to do this experiment (of releasing the film online). Both Gulabo Sitabo and Udham Singh are cinematic experiences; nothing is less, nothing is more. It's all about creating good cinema."

When asked if his forthcoming directorial, Udham Singh which stars Vicky Kaushal, will also be released online, Shoojit said, "I have been working on one film at a time. One film recovers a little cost and that helps me move on to the next one. Udham Singh needs post-production work which I'll start once I release Gulabo Sitabo. We regenerate employment that way. We still don't know which way we will go with Udham Singh at this point. There's work pending in the post-production of the film which we need to complete first."

Well, we are living in uncertain times and don't really know how things will pan out.
