It has been airing for the past 12 years and entertaining everyone. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is also one of the most-watched Indian Television shows in the country. Recently, in an interview, Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi was asked whether his on-screen wife Disha Vakani is the highest-paid actress of the show. His answer will quite surprise you.

Dilip Joshi got all candid and said that he was aware of the reports on the casts' salary had been the talk of the town for quite a while. However, he said that they were all untrue. He requested fans to not believe in such reports that share details about any actors' personal life and no one would share details of their paycheck with anyone.

However, as per the reports, both Dilip Koshi and Disha Vakani's net worth is about Rs 37 crore. As per the reports, Munmun Dutta who plays Babita Iyer in the show earns around Rs 35K-50k per month. It is also said that Taarak Mehta aka Shailesh Lodha earns around Rs 1 lakh per episode. Reports also state that Mandar Chandwadkar aka Atmaram Tukaram Bhide earns about Rs 80: per episode.

Even Champaklal Gada aka Amit Bhatt earns around 80K per episode. Meanwhile, the show has been on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has been claiming lives all across the globe. It has been almost three months now that the lockdown was brought into effect.
