Rakul Preet Singh reacts on video showing her apparently buying alcohol

There are a lot of false videos and claims going around on the internet these days amid lockdown. Yesterday, there was a video uploaded on twitter by @KRKBoxOffice which showed Rakul crossing a road and holding something in her hands. 'What was @Rakulpreet buying during the #lockdown? She was buying alchohol?' read the tweet's caption.

Rakul took to twitter and reacted to the video. 'Oh wow ! I wasn't aware that medical stores were selling alcohol'.

As you might be aware, all liquor shops were closed ever since PM Narendra Modi announced a national lockdown on March 25. The lockdown was extended till May 17, but standalone liquor shops were permitted to operate. There were huge queues reported from various parts of the country the day liquor shops were opened. Social distancing went for a toss.

Meanwhile, Rakul recently shared a video in which her brother, Aman and she can be seen playing dog and the bone. It is Rakul who wins the round. The actress is stationed at home in Mumbai. She has been telling people to follow the regulations and stay safe at home. The De De Pyaar De actress has also come forward to help people during this crisis. Her family is also supporting her in this endeavour. They are helping 200-250 families who live in a slum close to her residence in Gurugram. Her family is preparing food at home and sending it to the families day ad night. Rakul Preet tweeted, "This makes me sooooo proud thanku ! God bless you and stay safe.' She said that she is not someone who talks about charity as it is too personal for her. But seeing this current situation, she decided to talk about it. It seems her father and she will continue this initiative for a long time.
