Smriti Khanna reveals how she managed to lose post pregnancy weight in just one week [EXCLUSIVE]

Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi actors Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta became proud parents to a baby girl on April, 15. Smriti Khanna has been quite active on social media during her pregnancy period and had been keeping her fans updated about the happenings in her life. The couple had also revealed the name of their baby recently. The two have named her as Anayka. They have been posting a lot of their happy family pictures and they are too adorable. Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta also had a great news for their fans as their new music video is out now. The song is titled Wajah and as usual fans have loved their chemistry. Recently, in an Instagram live with us, Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta spoke about their journey throughout Smriti's pregnancy. Smriti Khanna also revealed how she managed to lose post-pregnancy weight in just one week.

Smriti Khanna said, "I just want to say that I have not worked hard as much as I am being appreciated for it. So, I don't want to take so much credits for that. But ya my body, my genetics they have behaved in a certain way and it was easier for me to get back into shape so soon." Gautam Gupta said, "She hasn't worked so hard. It was just 10,000 steps. I mean these are things people should generally do and that is what she has followed honestly. She has been speaking to a lot of friends who are living in different countries and they are saying that they are doing Zumba dance n all when they are pregnant."

Smriti Khanna shared, "Yes, People abroad they do jogs, they do Zumba dance, they swim regularly. In India, I think there a lot of myths that the moment they realise somebody is pregnant they say you just eat and be on the bed which is not the right way of going about it. So you have to be very active and you have just eat nutritious food even if you were eating junk before and fat. People think that you eat fat, then the baby is going to be fat but fat is not healthy. So baby is going to grow if you eat protein more and not fat. People really need to educate themselves and then they can really have a healthy and good pregnancy. Being active is the most important thing. "
