Video of the week: Fans have picked THESE South stars for the Kollywood version of Money Heist

On April 3, the makers of Money Heist released their fourth season and soon enough, everyone was singing Bella Ciao. Well, if you have been living under a rock (which you basically are, given the lockdown and the apartment you live in) or in case you missed it for some or other reason (work), Money Heist is a Spanish heist web series, created by lex Pina. It is hugely popular all across the, and the series has been appreciated by critics and viewers alike.

Now, a fan-made video starring South stars, in what is essentially the Kollywood version of Money Heist, was released a couple of days ago, and it looks too good to be true (which it actually isn't). In the 3-minute video, we see Tamannaah as Tokyo, Thala Ajith as Berlin, Chiyaan Vikram as Moscow, STR as Denver, Arya as Rio, Arvind Swami as Helsinki, Vijay Sethupathi as Oslo, Samantha Akkineni as Nairobi, Nayanthara as Raquel and Thalapathy Vijay as Professor. Meanwhile, in an interview with an online entertainment portal, Alex Rodrigo, one of the makers of the show, revealed which Indian actors fit the bill for various characters from Money Heist. Alex thinks Ayushmann Khurrana or Thalapathy Vijay would be the perfect fit for the role of Professor. Ayushmann himself had said earlier that he would love to play the character of Professor. Further, Alex added Ajith Kumar could be perfect as Bogota while Shah Rukh Khan could fit the bill as Berlin.

Alex would like Ranveer Singh and Mahesh Babu to play Denver and Tamayo while he thought Suriya could step into the shoes of the role of Suarez. While picking the cast, Alex heaped praises on our actors, saying that Vijay would look "intelligent as the professor" while Shah Rukh looked "handsome as Berlin."

Money Heist narrates the events of the two long-prepared heists led by the Professor and executed by his hand-picked team. The web series features lvaro Morte as The Professor, Pedro Alonso as Berlin, Jaime Lorente as Denver, Mario De La Rose as Saurez, Hovik Keuchkerian as Bogota, to name a few.
