Week that was Bollywood: Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan’s passing away, Celebs coming together for Covid-19 relief

It was perhaps one of the toughest weeks in Bollywood. We lost Irrfan Khan on Wednesday and just a day later, we lost Rishi Kapoor. Then many people of the entertainment world across the globe came together for the I for India concert. It was done to raise money for Covid-19 relief. An old revelation from Shah Rukh resurfaced online in which he said that his son Aryan had hit a girl. So without any further ado, let's have a look at all that made headlines in the past week.

Irrfan Khan passes away

The actor was battling cancer. It was shocking because it seems that he had recovered. In fact, his film Angrezi Medium had released just before the nationwide lockdown. "I trust, I have surrendered," these were the some of the many words that Irrfan expressed in a heartfelt note he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer. He was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him. It seemed like a very personal loss and tributes started pouring in all through the week.

Rishi Kapoor's sad demise

This was just a day after Irrfan's demise. Rishi was also a cancer patient. Just last year in September, Rishi Kapoor had returned from his treatment for cancer. He had been stationed abroad for treatment and had been undergoing chemotherapy sessions. Mane people remembered the actor and offered their condolences.

Shah Rukh Khan's revelation

This was in 2007. Shah Rukh Khan had said that his son, Aryan had hit girl. He had revealed at that time on Koffee with Karan, "My son feels I am fat. He beat up a girl. First, she called me an 'a**hole'. He didn't react. Then she said I looked ugly in Kaun Banega Crorepati but he didn't react and controlled himself. Finally, when she said, 'Your father is fat,' he kicked her. I got angry with him and he said, 'Papa, it's not her fault. It's you. Why are you fat? You are not ugly, I didn't mind. You look handsome on KBC. You're not an a**hole, I know. You're a cool guy. But you are fat, papa."

Celebs come together to fight Covid-19

Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Karan Johar, Bryan Adams and many other celebs from across the globe came together for the I for India concert. Shah Rukh Khan was the last performer in the I For India concert and his wait was truly worth it. He sang Sab Sahi Ho Jaega, a song which was full of humour, wit and some dance. AbRam was also a part of the performance and was super cute.

Saif Ali Khan trims Taimur's hair

Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a picture of Saif Ali Khan taking up barber's duties and chopping Taimur's hair. Taimur looked pretty chill in the picture. Well, the lockdown has made so many unimaginable things possible.
