When Debina Bonnerjee was inconsolable during Ramayan's shoot and the reason will make you go AWW

Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee are still remembered as Lord Ram and Sita from the 2008's adaptation of Ramayan by Anand Sagar. It is on the sets of the TV show that they fell in love and decided on forever. They have been happily married for almost a decade now and their bond seems to just grow with each passing day. You may have heard of troubles in the relationship when it's all-new. Well, that's what happened in the case of Gurmeet and Debina as well. They were shooting for Ramayan smoothly when Debina realised that she won't be shooting with Gurmeet anymore. That broke her heart and she cried even after the take, much to everyone's surprise.

"The most emotional scene was when Sita was walking out of the house for the second time as Ram finds out that his Praja is unhappy with her, which he actually doesn't tell Sita but she finds out from a Guptchar and decides to leave for vanvas," Debina Bonnerjee told Spotboye.

She went on to add the reason, "That particular scene made me very emotional because I knew I won't get to shoot with Gurmeet anymore. We were in love already at that time and in spite of being in Vadodra and shooting for the same show, I was very emotional. So, for that scene, Sita was supposed to be teary-eyed because she was stepping out for her self-respect but I couldn't control my tears and I was crying so much that all were shocked. Even after the scene wrapped up, my tears didn't stop. I cried for hours and hours as I was struggling with the emotions of two people- Sita and Debina at the same time. Gurmeet actually took me in the corner and said, 'please control, this is not all real.'"

Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee have since then featured numerous TV shows individually.
