Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s Mohena Kumari Singh reveals when her mentor, Terence Lewis, made her emotional [Exclusive]

Mohena Kumari Singh, known as Keerti from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has moved to Dehradun after her marriage. She's hitched to Suyash Rawat, son of Uttarakhand minister, Satpal Maharaj. BollywoodLife caught up with Mohena Kumari Singh for an exclusive chat some time ago. We spoke about her journey into the world of showbiz. As we know Mohena Kumari Singh comes from the royal family of Rewa in Madhya Pradesh. She was the first girl from her lineage to enter into the world of showbiz. She became nostalgic as she spoke about her participation in Dance India Dance and shared a wonderful memory of her mentor, Terence Lewis.

Mohena told BollywoodLife, "I have great memories of Remo D'Souza Sir and Terence Lewis Sir. Both of them were very encouraging in my journey. I remember, I was overwhelmed when Remo Sir asked me if I would be a part of his dance film, ABCD." She then went on to narrate an incident with Terence Lewis that made her parents very emotional. "So, there was this dance camp happening in the US and Terence Sir wanted to take me there. I had left Rewa to come to Mumbai, and travelling to the US was something that made my parents a little apprehensive. I had never travelled abroad before. They were worried, but did not show it much. Terence Sir gave me a letter and told me to give it to them. In a hand-written letter, he assured them that he would look after me like a sister and they need not worry. My parents become very emotional after reading that," she reminisces.

As of now, she has bid adieu to the world of glamour and is adjusting to her new home in Dehradun. "This lockdown has given me the chance to finally adjust in my new home. I was travelling non-stop after my wedding. Suyash is very supportive and wants me to stay connected with whatever I love in life," she concludes.
