Ananya Panday was upset with SOTY 2 costar Tiger Shroff because of THIS reason

Ananya Panday made an impressive debut with Tiger Shroff starrer Student of the Year 2, which also marked the first screen appearance of Tara Sutaria. While we loved the crackling chemistry between Tiger and Ananya, the Pati Patni Aur Woh actress was mighty upset with the Baaghi 3 star as he got a chance to dance with Alia Bhatt in the special song, The Hook Up. Ananya had said that Alia is her favourite and she didn't even get a chance to dance with her of Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.

"Yes, I mean I love Sid and Varun and like obviously I would love to dance with them but I was so upset when Tiger got to dance with Alia because everyone knows that Alia is my favorite so I went and I used to sit on set and watch them dance and look at Punit that if you could make me pass in the background or do some step," said Ananya Panday. The actress is currently filming for Vijay Deverakonda's Fighter, which will be her first pan-India film, and post that she will share screen space with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone in Director Shakun Batra's untitled thriller. Talking about working with DP, Ananya told SpotBoye, "You don't feel like she's a star overpowering you. It feels like being with a friend. Deepika is more beautiful on the inside than on the outside."

Speaking about the project, Karan Johar had earlier revealed, "Shakun has directed one of the most acclaimed films of Dharma Productions Kapoor & Sons. With this movie, he also turns producer with us. His upcoming directorial is an intriguing relationship drama, which will release on Valentine's Day 2021. I am proud and excited about Shakun's vision as a versatile filmmaker." Shakun had added, "I have had a wonderful journey with Karan and his production house for almost a decade now, and I can't wait to get back into the director's chair for my next. It's a relationship drama where the characters find themselves stuck in a morally ambiguous zone."
