Congratulations! Kumkum Bhagya actress Shikha Singh Shah and hubby Karan Shah welcome a baby girl

Kumkum Bhagya actress Shikha Singh Shah and Karan Shah welcome a baby girl yesterday morning. Shikha Singh Shah had been sharing a lot of pictures of her while she enjoyed her pregnancy journey. The actress informed about the little angel's arrival to Bombay Times. She also revealed the name they both have chosen for their princess. Shikha Singh Shah and Karan Shah have decided to name their baby girl, Alayna Singh Shah. She said, "We are naming her Alayna Singh Shah. During our trip to Maldives in February, we had decided that if we have a daughter, this would be her name. This was the first name we both agreed upon, and after that, throughout the pregnancy, we called our baby, 'Al'." She also revealed her feelings after she finally got her baby girl. She said, "The feeling is yet to sink in. I think the countless sleepless nights that we will face, will make me realise that I am a mom now!"

She also revealed how they were prepared during this COVID-19 times. She said, "Karan and I had taken all the precautions we could throughout our pregnancy. We wore masks constantly, sanitised ourselves and did all household chores. God has been kind as everything went smooth. The baby has arrived and we are both fine. The hospital is also taking very good care. They are meticulous and sanitising the area very well. But it is a different feeling to see everyone around in PPE kits. There are no visitors allowed. My husband Karan is staying with us and taking care of us." Shikha Singh Shah reveals she has no plans of leaving Kumkum Bhagya. She said, "It will be another few months before I can get back to work. With the baby around, I don't think I will be able to step out at all."

 

Shikha Singh Shah also revealed that she is excited to go back home. She shared, "I can't wait for my pet (Labrador) Goku to meet Alayna."
