Tollywood superstar, Nandamuri Balakrishna, is celebrating his 60th birthday today. In his illustrious career of around 5 decades, Balayya has featured in 104 films and showed his versatility by portraying diversified roles in commercial entertainer, mythological, historical and sci-fi genres. The actor is also one of the rare Tollywood stars, who hasn't endorsed any products till date in his career. In a recent interview, when he was asked about his, NBK cited father and legendary actor NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao) as the reason and told that the multi-talented personality never endorsed any product in his acting career.

The actor said, "Fans and Telugu people have been showing love and admiration towards me for the past five decades. I can't use their love for commercial purposes and make money out of it. As an actor, my duty is to entertain them through films and I shall do that for the rest of my life."

Talking about his upcoming project, Nandamuri Balakrishna will resume shoot with director Boyapati Srinu of an action entertainer soon. The first look of the film will be unveiled today as a treat for NBK fans. The film went on floors in March in Hyderabad but came to a halt due to the outbreak of coronavirus. The actor and director earlier collaborated for Simha and Legend and both were box office blockbusters. Talking about the untitled film, there are reports stating that Shriya Saran and Anjali have come on board as the female leads. There are also rumours that the makers have approached Sanjay Dutt to play the lead antagonist. The film is bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy and the music is composed by S Thaman, who recently delivered a musical chartbuster with Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
