Ekta Kapoor deletes controversial sex scene from XXX season 2 pertaining to army; says, 'We are deeply respectful towards the Indian Army'

Popular TV and film producer and creator of web series XXX season 2, Ekta Kapoor has deleted the controversial scenes from the show post receiving rape threats and cyberbullying from the people. A police complaint is also registered against the producer in Gurugram's Palam Vihar police station and an FIR in Indore and Madhya Pradesh. Confirming the news of deleting controversial scene, Ekta Kapoor said, "As an individual and as an organisation we are deeply respectful towards the Indian Army. Their contribution to our well-being and security is immense. We have already deleted the scene that is being spoken about, so action has been taken from our side. What we don't appreciate is the bullying and the rape threats by the trolls."

Speaking about rape threats, Ekta said, "This gentleman who thinks that he's the 'patriot of the year' decided to come out there, abuse my mother and me. And now, has openly put a rape threat on a social platform. This, now, is no longer about the army or sexual content because the idea of this is 'rape a girl, rape her son, rape her 71-year-old mother' for making sexual content. It means sex is bad but rape is okay."

Popular YouTuber and Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Vikas Pathak aka Hindustani Bhau was the first one to object against this scene and had filed a police complaint against producers Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. He shared a video from the police station and was seen saying, "As I told you yesterday, I will file a complaint against a Bollywood celebrity who is defaming the country, so here I am at the police station and the famous personality I have filed a complaint against is Ekta Kapoor and her mom Shobha Kapoor. He further added, "In the web series, they have shown that when the military personnel is away, his wife calls her boyfriend at home, makes him wear the military uniform and then tears it."
