Sonam Kapoor turns a year older. She is in Mumbai with her family and they could not be happier. It seems husband Anand Ahuja made arrangements so that they could ring in the occasion with her folks. Sonam Kapoor was living in their sprawling Lutyens bungalow in Delhi for the lockdown period. Her family and friends decked up their Juhu home for the occasion. Flowers, streamers and balloons created the perfect atmosphere as she turned 35. The actress' friends and family members wished her with all the love. However, it is dad Anil Kapoor's wish that is breaking the Internet. He posted a stunning picture of the actress with a heart-warming caption. He wrote, "To a daughter like no other, the perfect partner to @anandahuja, a star on screen and an icon with an unimitable style. She's my confidant, my joy, my pride, the most generous hearted soul I know, (the only person I am shit scared of) & now a bona fide master chef! Happy Birthday, @sonamkapoor! I'm so happy that you're here with all of us today! Love You, Always!"

She replied, "Love you daddy." The birthay girl had a rocking midnight party where she cut a number of cakes. Talking about cakes, she cut four of them at the bash. It looked like a perfect pyjama party. Boney Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor have sent cute wishes for the birthday girl.

Anil Kapoor also praised Sonam Kapoor's cooking skills in the post. It seems she has been cooking well and her baking skills during the lockdown were for all to see. The actress was last seen in the film, The Zoya Factor. Anil Kapoor had also said that he shares a friendly relation with Anand Ahuja, his son-in-law. They are like buddies. Anil Kapoor will be seen next in Karan Johar's Takht which should roll out once the lockdown ends.
