Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Apart from COVID-19, here's another reason why Karan Singh Grover was not keen to return as Mr Bajaj

Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has been the most loved show and fans have loved the performances of each and every actor. Recently, it was reported that Karan Singh Grover who plays Mr Bajaj in the show may not return to shoot post the shoot resume. The source told Pinkvilla, "It is well known that KSG's entry in the show led to a steep rise in the show's TRP and that was one of the reasons why Bajaj's track was introduced earlier this year. However, KSG won't be returning as Mr. Bajaj as of now. He is very much concerned about the ongoing pandemic in the country and is not too keen on returning. The team is negotiating and discussing things with him right now and trying to convince him to return." Later there were reports of Gaurav Chopra replacing him as Mr Bajaj. The reports also said that not Gaurav Chopra but Sharad Kelkar will be playing Mr Bajaj. Now, we get to hear that not just COVID-19, there is also another reason why Karan Singh Grover does not want to return as Mr Bajaj.

Apparently, Karan Singh Grover is not happy with the way Mr Bajaj is portrayed. A source close to Pinkvilla revealed, "Apart from the coronavirus pandemic being a cause of worry for Karan, the actor was not happy with the way Mr Bajaj's character was been portrayed on the show. It is well known that Mr Bajaj's character in the first part was predominantly positive and was etched much better and was one of the leading ones. Here he felt the character was unnecessarily been portrayed grey and lacked depth. Moreover, it was being treated like a supporting character which had already upset him. Right now, he is discussing with the team to possibly have the character etched out better."

 

Well, it will be interesting to see who will be playing Mr Bajaj or will Karan Singh Grover return.
