Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Not Gaurav Chopra, but Sharad Kelkar to replace Karan Singh Grover as Mr Bajaj?

Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has been one of the most loved shows on television. It has a huge fan following and each character has been iconic from both the seasons of the show. Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan, Hina Khan, Aamna Sharif, and Karan Singh Grover have impressed us all with their spectacular performances. They have made us fall in love with the characters. However, Hina Khan had left the show soon. She impressed us as Komolika and now Aamna Sharif has been portraying that role. The show's production had been stalled due to the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown that was brought into effect in March 2020. And now, as per the reports, since June 26, the show is likely to resume shooting but with necessary precautions. We had earlier reported that Karan Singh Grover who played Mr Bajaj in the show was to resume shooting before the lockdown was announced in the country but now, reports say that he is not keen to return to the sets due to the still grave situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, due to this the makers are planning to rope in Sanjivani 2 actor Gaurav Chopra to step into his shoes. Well, now as per reports in Pinkvilla, not Gaurav Chopra but Sharad Kelkar who was seen in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior will be replacing Karan Singh Grover as Mr Bajaj in the show. A source close to Pinkvilla said, "Sharad received a call for the role and currently the discussions are going on. Nothing has been locked so far and even Kelkar is mulling over the same. Things will be locked by this weekend and till then, the makers are weighing their options." The spokesperson of Sharad Kelkar had also confirmed to Pinkvilla that Sharad has been approached for the role but he hasn't said anything.

 

Well, it will be interesting to see who will be our next Mr Bajaj amongst Sharad Kelkar or Gaurav Chopra.
