Throwback to the time when Ayushmann Khurrana met Palash Sen on a reality show

Ayushmann Khurrana is a big actor today but he has had a long journey to get there. Palash Sen, the lead singer of Euphoria took to Facebook to share a throwback pic with and Ayushmann and a heart-warming message. Ayushmann was a contestant and Palash was a judge.

His caption read, "2003, a young boy wanted to be a singer in a show where I was the judge- Popstars. He didn't win it but won my heart and my love forever. Travelled with me for Euphoria gigs and always stayed close to me. My only advice to him was - Haar na Maan na! Today as his new film releases, he is definitely India's most loved and the most talented actor. Ayush, I am as proud of you today, as I was 17 years back. Love you my bro. Everyone, go watch Gulaabo Sitaabo on Amazon Prime. Ayushmann Khurrana #throwback #popstars."

The actor is seen in Gulabo Sitabo alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Madras Cafe and Piku helmer Shoojit Sircar, the film has released directly on OTT. While the film was expected to have a theatrical the makers decided to release on an OTT platform due to the current pandemic situation. "This is the dawn of a new era for Indian entertainment," said director, Shoojit Sircar. "I am happy that a global audience will be able to watch our gritty dramedy, and enjoy what the film has in store for them. Gulabo Sitabo is a quirky, light-hearted movie that the audience can enjoy with their families. It has been a wonderful experience working with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana on the film," said the filmmaker.

In a recent video, Ayushmann urged people to save water, "These are exceptional times that we have seen in the last few months. It's time to wake up, it's time to take notice. It's time to participate. This environment day my one wish for the earth is or rather request for all of us to use water wisely. It is a scarce resource and right now we are even more dependent on it to wash our hands at regular intervals to battle this pandemic."
