Anupam Kher gives an update on his mother's health; urges people to express love to their parents — view post

A couple of days ago, Anupam Kher revealed that his mother, Dulari and his brother, Raju and his family have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The number of cases registered for the deadly virus has just grown in the past few days. Anupam Kher's mother and his brother and his family have been stationed in a quarantine center ever since they were tested positive. The actor took to his social media handle and updated everyone on his mother, brother and his family's well-being.

Anupam Kher shared a video in which he could be seen talking about his mother's spirit despite being in a quarantine center. He revealed that she had been speaking to his (Anupam's) cousin on the phone who happens to live just one kilometer away. He said that after talking to his cousin, he felt happy on knowing that his mother still has the vigor and zest for life. Anupam said that parents would never acknowledge their worries and their health issues and would keep asking about the well-being of others. While talking to his mother on phone, he revealed that she kept asking about his friends like Anil Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Ashok Pandit and others. He says that parents are constantly trying to be brave to hide their own insecurities.

He went on to urge people to shower them with love every often. "It is very important to take care of our parents. Tell them that we love you. Words are very important. We say feelings are important, I think words are very important. We have stopped communicating our feelings. It is very important to tell the people who you love, actually tell them that you love them," he said.

He captioned the post saying, "Felt like Sharing with you what I am feeling these days. Mom is trying to be her spirited self in the hospital although is not feeling hungry. Raju, Reema & Vrinda are home quarantined. Parents are so selfless. One must verbally tell them again and again that you love them.
