Naagin 5: Asha Negi dismisses rumours of being a part of Ekta Kapoor's show

The TV show that everyone is waiting for is Naagin 5. The fourth installment of the supernatural franchise was a bit of a damp squib. After a great start, it saw a slide in the TRP ratings. Producer Ekta Kapoor has announced that season five will come earlier than expected. Now, they are closing season four with a crackling finale. There is immense speculation and excitement around the casting for season five. A number of names are doing the rounds. Amongst actresses, the names of Divyanka Tripathi, Kratika Sengar, Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna have floated around. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya has outright denied being a part of season five.

The latest buzz was that Asha Negi might join Hina Khan on the supernatural show. We know that Asha Negi made her debut on TV with Pavitra Rishta. She has had a long association with Balaji Telefilms. Recently, she was seen on the web series, Baarish 2 along with Sharman Joshi. Fans were damn excited at the thought of Negi joining Hina Khan on the show. But she has dismissed the stories as sheer rumours. The Unlock actress has not given clarity on whether she is doing Naagin 5 or not.

Naagin is a huge franchise for the channel and producers. Ekta Kapoor confessed that she did not pay much attention to the script of season four, and even apologized to Jasmin Bhasin, Anita Hassanandani and Rashami Desai. They will look at making amends in season five. Hina Khan is one of the biggest stars of the TV industry. Ekta Kapoor loves to work with her. In the boys, names of Shivin Narang, Paras Chhabra and Asim Riaz are circulating around for Naagin 5. While Narang has not yet confirmed, Chhabra told BollywoodLife that someone indeed contacted him but did not take the talks further.
