RIP Saroj Khan: 'You made dancing look easy,' fans pay rich tributes to the lady — read tweets

The year 2020 is the darkest one in the history of Bollywood. We have been hearing one bad news after another. Choreographer Saroj Khan is no more. She has passed away due to cardiac arrest. The lady was 71. She was loved as 'Masterji' in the industry. She has been unwell due to health issues for some time now. Saroj Khan is best known for her collaboration with Madhuri Dixit. Some of their famous tracks are Maar Daala (Devdas), Ek Do Teen (Tezaab), Dhak Dhak (Beta) and the last one was Tabaah Ho Gaye from Karan Johar's Kalank. Saroj Khan was hailed for bringing some truly sensuous moves on screen without making them look vulgar.

The lady was admitted to a hospital since June 17 after she complained of breathing issues. She was tested for coronavirus as well but the reports came out as negative. She was born in the year 1948 and her parents came to India after the partition. She was a child artiste at the age of three. She worked extensively with choreographer master B Sohanlal whom she later married. Her first film as an independent choreographer was Geeta Mera Naam (1974) but it was her work with Madhuri Dixit that is immemorial.

They say that legends never die and she will live forever in our hearts with her fantastic work. Saroj Khan was seen as a judge on dance reality shows as well. May her soul rest in peace.
