Disha Patani's father, Uttar Pradesh top cop Jagdish Patani tests positive for COVID-19 along with two colleagues

The COVID-19 pandemic is hitting its peak in India. Whether it is commoners or celebs, people are catching the deadly flu. As per latest reports, Disha Patani's father Uttar Pradesh top cop Jagdish Patani has also tested positive for the virus. He is a Deputy SP on the Vigilance unit of the Uttar Pradesh power department. It seems he tested positive along with a couple of other officers. All of them have been put under quarantine. As per PTI, the zonal chief engineer's office is being sanitized. It seems it will be kept closed for the next 48 hours. It seems Jagdish Patani and his team were there to investigate a transformer scam. They had come down from Bareilly to Lucknow. There is no comment from Disha Patani on the same.

Disha Patani who celebrated her birthday a month back, is now spending quality time at home with her pets. She will be seen in Salman Khan's Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai. The movie was supposed to be releasing in Eid, 2020 but has got postponed now due to the pandemic. The two have worked together in Bharat. People liked Salman Khan and her chemistry in the film immensely. The shoot was supposed to start in Mehboob Studio in August but now it was been postponed.

A source told MiD-Day in July, "Come August, several films are expected to go on floors. Salman, along with producer Atul Agnihotri and director Prabhudheva, has gone back to the drawing board to devise ways of filming in the post-COVID world without compromising on the movie's scale. They are reworking the pending portions, including a song, so that they can be shot with a minimal crew. The studio is likely to be booked from the first week of August, with Salman hoping to call it a wrap by the month-end."
