Independence Day 2020: 'There are elements which need to be changed to fit in with the current generation,' says Hina Khan [Exclusive]

Like the rest of India, our celebs too are celebrating Independence Day. Hina Khan shares her views with us. The TV diva feels that while there is so much which has evolved, there are certain aspects which are still a work in progress. She feels it is due to some with close-minded thought processes and that is something, which needs a change. She told us, "As a country we have achieved so many amazing milestones in so many sectors and fields which have really enhanced our natio. However, there are elements which need to be changed to fit in with the current generation and era we are are living in."

The actress includes freedom of speech and women rights as aspects of the changes she did like to see. Hina Khan states, "From the right to freedom of speech to true respect of a women in every professional field, I wish to see many changes. I feel we need to acquire more opportunities for the youth to help expand their horizons, and ensure that true talent in every field gets recognized without any bias." She feels, the above changes are all in the work in progress state, and she hopes that it gets better in the near future.

She adds, "Without these new age developments, all that we have managed to create and achieve for ourselves and the country we live in as a whole, will remain incomplete! We have to adapt to the ongoing times, we have to change our old views to help in that process. It will not only benefit us but also help our country in progressing to much bigger heights." Hina Khan has made a great entry in Naagin 5 as Aadi Naagin. She is spearheading the fifth season with her great start. We will see her in a fierce form in tonight's episode.
