MD Dhoni retires: Sidharth Shukla, Nakuul Mehta and other TV celebs bid farewell to the former Indian skipper
Yesterday, Indian's captain cool, Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement by taking to his social media handle. It came as a huge shock and surprise to everyone in the country. MSD's contribution to Indian cricket is unmatched. He has always been calm and confident both on and off the field. He shared a montage of pictures from his career as an Indian batsman and wicket-keeper with his favourite song playing in the background, 'Main pal do pal ka shayar hoon'. "Thank. Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired," he wrote alongside the video. In the video, we can see him through his various phases. Right from the start, when he had long tresses to the time when he was highly criticized by the masses by burning his photos and dummy. From the time he struggled to score a run to the time he brought world cup home after 28 long years. Alongside Dhoni, his fellow batsman, Suresh Raina has announced his retirement from the international cricket. Their contribution to India's cricket and their sportsmanship will be missed dearly.
