Sushant Singh Rajput case: CBI submits its report to the Supreme Court; here's what they have deducted
Yesterday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), filed its initial report before the Supreme Court, stating that both their department as well as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) need to be given more them to continue their individual investigations, so that they could reach a fair and through conclusion in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The CBI also informed the SC that since most of the transactions pertaining the actor's finances and the doubts surrounding his death took place in Mumbai, the Patna Police has no jurisdiction in the matter.
Earlier, Sushant Singh Rajput's US-based sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, shared a picture of herself holding a placard, again requesting for a CBI inquiry into her brother's alleged suicide, with an accompanying message that read
: "It's time we find the truth and get justice. Please help our family and the whole world to know what the truth is and find closure, otherwise we will never be able to live a peaceful life!!#CBIForSSR Raise your voice and demand #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput #WarriorsForSSR @sushantsinghrajput ," while her placard read: "I am sister of Sushant Singh Rajput and I request for #CBIforSSR ." Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebs, including Kriti Sanon, Ankita Lokhande, Mouni Roy, Varun Dhawan, Mouni Roy, Hina Khan and Kangana Ranaut have called for the CBI inquiry into Sushant's suicide to continue.
