Sushant Singh Rajput case: Senior Bihar cop Vinay Tiwari gets quarantined by BMC officials on arrival in Mumbai

Senior cop from Bihar Vinay Tiwari, who arrived in Mumbai to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, has been quarantined by BMC officials. DGP of Bihar, IPS Gupteshwar Pandey says that this decision has been intentionally taken by the Mumbai officials and they have forcibly quarantined Vinay Tiwari. Sharing a picture of qurantine stamp on Vinay's hand, Gupteshwar Pandey wrote, "IPS officer Binay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from Patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11 pm today. He was not provided accommodation in the IPSMess despite request and was staying in a guest house in Goregaw"

Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti also reacted to it and wrote, "What? Is this even for real? How can an officer sent on duty be quarantined for 14 Days? #JusticeForSushant"

On his arrival in Mumbai, Vinay Tiwari told media, "The [Bihar Police] team in Mumbai is doing a good job. The next step in the investigation is supervision and hence a senior official had to come so I have come. I will have a meeting with my team. An FIR has been registered. We are taking statements of the stakeholders for the last one week and will take statements from one and all. The statements will be analysed and then we will arrive at a conclusion."
