Sushant Singh Rajput posthumously honoured by the Californian State Assembly for his overall contribution to the society

Sushant Singh Rajput's case is just getting murkier but the investigating officials are nowhere near the truth. The actor's family had filed a case against Rhea Chakraborty and some other people alleging the money laundering and abetment to suicide angle in July. The actor's family is seeking justice for their 'Gulshan' as they fondly called him. Recently, the Californian State Assembly recognised Sushant's contribution to society. On the occasion of Independence Day, his sister, Shweta Singh Kirti shared the picture of the certificate on her social media handle.

"On the occasion of Indian Independence Day California recognizes my brother's (Sushant) overall contribution to society. California is with us.... are you? Thanks for your support California," Sushant Singh Rajput's sister wrote alongside the picture. Have a look at his post here:

"It's a great privilege for me to accept this honour from California State Assembly, on behalf of my brother, in remembrance and appreciation of his philanthropic work and contributions to Indian cinema. I thank the Assembly members and the Indian American community for their continuous support in these hours of crisis," Shweta told India Today elaborating on the honour.

A couple of hours ago, she shared a video of the prayer meeting held at their residence. They could be seen chanting hymns and praying for his soul before Sushant's picture. It is a heartbreaking sight. " ," she wrote while urging people to be a part of their movement in getting justice for Sushant. Talking about the case, ED is investigating the money laundering angle and has been questioning Rhea, her brother, Rhea's manager Shruti Modi to name a few. Mumbai Police had questioned about 5o plus people in connection with the case. Several celebrity friends of Sushant have joined Shweta's #CBIForSSR movement and are praying that the truth comes out soon.
