Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is undoubtedly one of the best comedy show to date. The show recently completely 12 years on July 28, and will soon complete 3000 episodes. It has been doing good on the TRP charts and is loved by the audience. The show has been going on for many years, but one can never get bored of watching it. Be it a kid or an old man, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the favourite of many. However, the fresh episodes of the show have received some backlash from the audience. The new episodes have flat out failed to entertain viewers. Netizens have called them 'boring', utterly disappointed by what they saw. The comedy element was lost as it was just about COVID-19 in the first episode post lockdown. Fans said that they wanted the old episodes back as the new one had 'zero comedy'.

Fans had thought that the show would have a grand re-opening, but that was not to be. This made them miss the older episodes, which featured their favourite, Daya Ben. Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben has been on maternity break since two years, and fans have been missing her terribly, yearning to see her back soon.
