The case went to Supreme Court and yesterday, the apex court pronounced the verdict by giving a nod to CBI for investigation and asking Mumbai police to handover all the evidence to the investigating agency. Dil Bechara, which was the adaptation of The Fault In Our Stars, also featured Sanjana Sanghi, Swastika Mukherjee, Saswata Chatterjee and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles, with a special cameo from Saif Ali Khan. It marked the directorial debut of ace casting director Mukesh Chhabra and was written by Shashank Khaitan and Suprotim Sengupta. The music of the film, which was composed by Academy Award winner AR Rahman, was very well received by the audience with songs like Mein Tumhara, Dil Bechara (title track), Maskhari, Khulke Jeene ka, Taare Ginn becoming instant hits.
