Throwback to the time when Nargis Fakhri said her broken bond with Ranbir Kapoor after Rockstar was a ‘harsh reality’

Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly dated a string of beauties. One of his talked about friendships was that with Nargis Fakhri. The two met on the sets of Rockstar and bonded beautifully. It was rumoured that Nargis Fakhri's presence had caused enough turmoil in the relationship between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. This was way back in 2011. Tabloids also reported how Ranbir Kapoor was apparently smitten by the stunning model-actress and Katrina Kaif had even landed up on the sets of the film to keep tabs on her then beau. There were many people who felt that Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri would make for a good pair.

However, the friendship did not last post the film. In a candid statement, Nargis Fakhri said the friendship fizzled out after the release of the film. She came as a guest on Niranjan Iyengar's show on Zing in 2015. Nargis sharply said, "I thought I did (share a bond with Ali and Kapoor) but apparently everyone builds a bond and then when the film is over, they disappear, so that was a harsh reality. I don't speak to anyone You would think that if someone brings you over and that you're new to the place, they would be like, 'Hey, how you doing? Are you okay? Still alive?' but no, so that was a harsh reality, so you learn."

We really don't know what went wrong between Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri. The actress later clarified that she was upset with the rumours but slowly stopped paying heed to them. Newspapers also went on an overdrive talking about how wonderfully Nargis Fakhri bonded with Neetu Kapoor on the sets. The actress was also linked to Shahid Kapoor for some time. Ranbir Kapoor continued his affair with Katrina Kaif till 2016. Nargis Fakhri is currently single and rocking it!
