Akshay Kumar to resume shoot of Prithviraj in October

Akshay Kumar is one busy man. He shot a coronavirus awareness ad in the middle of the pandemic, and is unstoppable. The superstar is now in Scotland for the shoot of Bell Bottom. It is a period thriller. When he comes back to Mumbai, he will immediately resume the shoot of Prithviraj. The shoot of the period historical came to an end in the month of March due to the spread of the pandemic. Post that, the makers pulled down the huge set that was erected in Dahisar. It was the facade of a 12th-century palace. As per a report in MiD Day, filmmaker Chandraprakash Dwivedi and producer Aditya Chopra have now told the art directors to resume work. They want the workers to set it up once again. The shoot of the film might begin from October. Prithviraj Chauhan is one of the biggest heroes of Rajputana history.

A trade source told MiD-Day, "From October 1, the production design team will begin constructing two sets the palace will be recreated in a ground in Jogeshwari, with another small set-up at Madh island. Considering it's an event film, Adi has instructed his team to ensure that the grandeur of the subject is not lost. The smooth shoot of Bunty Aur Babli 2 has boosted the confidence of the production house, and Adi is sure the team will be able to shoot the big-budget movie despite the restrictions."

The love story of Prithviraj Chauhan and Sanyukta is a part of Rajput folklore. The king belonged to the Chahamana dynasty. This is the first historical of Akshay Kumar's career. Manushi Chillar is the leading lady. She is making her Bollywood debut with the same.
