Bigg Boss 14: From clamp down on physical fights to separate kitchen items, COVID-19 has changed the flavour of the show

Bigg Boss 14 will be held in lockdown this season. Salman Khan is back with the new season, which is going to be different in so many ways. The show will have 14 contestants locked inside for four months. Jasmin Bhasin, Ribbhu Mehra, Naina Singh, Sakshi Chopraa are some of the confirmed names for the show. Of course, every week there will be COVID-19 tests on every contestant. The cleanliness will be much higher than before. Here is look at what we cannot expect in this season....

No physical fights

While we might not like overtly aggressive behaviour inside the house, there is no denying that it guarantees the eyeballs. The promos where we see two contestants about to break into a physical brawl is what keeps people hooked onto the reality show. Bigg Boss 13 was an extremely aggressive one. Fans will remember the chai fight between Sidharth Shukla-Rashami Desai-Arhaan Khan and the numerous times Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz pushed each other in the course of the show.

No sharing of beds

This is another huge issue for makers. A lot of footage comes from the bedroom area. Midnight conversations between bed friends/partners add a lot of spice to the show. Again, fans will recollect the kind of content Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill gave to the show as they chatted away at night. The nok-jhok in the bedroom is a critical part of every budding love story. In Bigg Boss 11, Puneesh Sharma and Bandgi Kalra also gave huge content from the bedroom with their saucy chats.

Lesser verbal duels

With hygiene and sanitation being paramount this season, we can foresee that it will impact the show. With adverse conditions, people also end up fighting on dishes, use of washrooms, food and what not. We feel all of that will be lesser this season as the focus will be on health of the contestants. This will cut down on the miscellaneous tamasha that happens every now and then.
