The Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar, is celebrating his 53rd birthday today. In a career spanning almost three decades, the actor has delivered many blockbusters at the box office, ruling the ticket windows and emerging as one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood. In fact, in 2019m the collective business of his releases (Kesari, Mission Mangal, Housefull 4 and Good Newwz) was above Rs. 750 crore nett. That surely show his power at the box office, doesn't it? As we all know that he is one of the busiest actors in Bollywood, so it's not surprising that the handsome hunk has seven upcoming releases. So, let's check them out...

Sooryavanshi

Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Rohit Shetty, the cop-actioner promises to be a paisa-vasool entertainer. The film was scheduled to release in March but got delayed due to COVID-19. The commercial entertainer also stars Katrina Kaif, Gulshan Grover, Kumud Mishra, Jackie Shroff, Nikitin Dheer, Jaaved Jaaferi in supporting roles, with cameos by Ajay Devgn as Singham and Ranveer Singh as Simmba.

Laxmmi Bomb

The makers of Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmmi Bomb opted for a digital release due to the COVID-19 crisis, but new reports suggest that they may be hope for a theatrical release yet. Directed by Raghava Lawrence, the film is the remake of his Tamil superhit, Muni 2.

Prithviraj

The historical drama is based on the life of the warrior king, Prithviraj Chauhan. It is being directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who previously helmed the mega-television epic, Chanakya based on the life and times of the most influential political strategist of India as also the multiple award-winning Pinjar. The film also marks the acting debut of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar.

Bachchan Pandey

The commerical entertainer is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Akshay Kumar will romance his Housefull costar Kriti Sanon in this venture.

Bell Bottom

Recently, Akshay Kumar's retro look from the sets of the film in Scotland went viral on the internet. The espionage thriller, directed by Ranjit M. Tewari, also features Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles.

Atrangi Re

Akshay Kumar's Atrangi Re, which will be helmed by Tanu Weds Manu director Aanand L. Rai, also features Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan in pivotal roles. The film will show the marriage of two cultures as per the filmmaker.

Raksha Bandhan

After Atrangi Re, Akshay Kumar joins hands again with Aanand L. Rai for Raksha Bandhan. While announcing the film, the Khiladi of Bollywood said that it is dedicated to his sister, Alka. It is scheduled to release on 5th November 2021.
