Known for his unconventional choices of films and unexplored subjects, the actor has established a fan base for himself and is currently one of the most bankable stars of Bollywood. • Honestly, we should be thankful to Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit as Ayushmann Khurrana decided to become an actor at the age of four after watching Tezaab.
• The actor was among the founding members of two theatre groups named Aaghaaz and Manchtantra during his college days in DAV.
• Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the qualified stars of Bollywood as he majored in English literature and has a master's degree in Mass Communication from School of Communication Studies, Panjab University.
• Ayushmann used to sing in a train with friends and collect money. The actor revealed this thing in an earlier interview and said, In fact, "I want to share how we used to perform in trains. During my college days, there was a train named Pashchim Express that used to go from Delhi to Mumbai. So I, along with my friends, used to get onto the train and we used to go to every coach to sing and perform. Passengers used to give us money which we used to collect. We used to earn so much that we managed to sponsor our Goa trip from it! So yes, you can say I am a train singer."

• Tied the knot with his childhood love Tahira in 2012. Talking about it, Tahira said, "Our story goes back 12 years. I don't want to sound vintage, but dating back in those days in Chandigarh was a different experience or perhaps we were both just extremely slow and shy. Both of us attended the same Physics tuition class when we were in the 12th standard. It was a batch of around 60 students and when I first met Ayushmann I thought his name was Abhishek."

On the professional front, Ayushmann Khurrana will be next seen in filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor's progressive love story, where he will portray the character of a cross-functional athlete. The actor will romance Vaani Kapoor in the film, which is set to go on floors in October and release in 2021.
