Pearl V Puri and Nikki Sharma to star in the sequel of Ekta Kapoor's supernatural show Brahmarakshas

The "Czarina of television" Ekta Kapoor, who has established Naagin into a successful franchise, is taking a similar step for another show of the same genre, which is Brahmarakshas. Yes, the sequel to this show has been announced and it will feature Pearl V Puri and Nikki Sharma as the lead stars. The new season will be against the backdrop of Songadh and Nikki will play the character of Kalindi while the handsome hunk will play her love interest Angad. The first season featured Krystle D'Souza, Aham Sharma and Parag Tyagi in prominent roles.

When asked to Pearl V Puri, who garnered fame with Naagin 3, what made her say 'Yes' to this Ekta Kapoor's show, he told Mumbai Mirror, "Our responsibility is to cater to the needs of the audience, so we have to make shows that they enjoy. I try to do something different each time so that people say this is not Pearl." The actor expressed his eagerness of coming back to sets after lockdown and said, "The lockdown was a different experience. I got to eat home-cooked food and even went on some road trips. Now, rejuvenated, I can't wait to get back. There is fear but we have to start living with it as corona is not going away anytime soon."

Brahmakrashas 2 marks the third collaboration between Pearl V Puri and producer Ekta Kapoor after Naagin 3 and Bepanah Pyaar. Interestingly, it is also his show in the supernatural genre after Naagin 3 and Nagarjun: Ek Yoddha. While the reports suggest the Chetan Hansraj has bagged a prominent role in the second season, there is no official announcement on it.
