Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt begin dubbing for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra — deets inside

Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Yes, we know some of you are still looking forward to this sci-fi film which is into production for like forever. But as they say, good things take time and Brashmastra is one such film that promises to bring new heights to Indian Cinema in the world of futuristic/sci-fi genre. Ayan Mukerji has invested a lot of his time in this project as he wants it to be an unforgettable yet memorable cinematic experience for the audience. As per the latest reports, the cast, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have begun dubbing for the film.

It is being said that Alia and Ranbir began dubbing two weeks ago. Just yesterday, the filmmaker was spotted alongside Ranbir at the dubbing studio in the city. A source close to the development of the film informed Mumbai Mirror that the cast and crew are planning something special for the audience. It will be a special video series in order to build the hype around the movie and introduce the audience to the world of Brahmastra. They are planning to release these videos as the release date inches closer. "They have also been working on a special video series to introduce the audience to the world of Brahmastra, which will be unveiled in succession closer to the date of release which has yet to be decided given the delay and the fact that theatres in India are not yet operational. Editing is on and so also dubbing," the source told the portal.

Meanwhile, the shooting is not yet complete since the coronavirus lockdown brought it to a halt. The source said that a brief shoot remains which includes a song featuring Ranbir and Alia. "They will decide on the timeline and shoot in a city studio. Amitabh Bachchan is expected to be a part of this final schedule and will shoot some important scenes with Ranbir Kapoor," the source added.

Talking about Brahmashtra, apart from Alia and Ranbir, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan will have a cameo in the film as well. As of now, the film still remains scheduled for a December 4 release.
