Bigg Boss 14: Sargun Mehta extends support to Shehzad Deol; calls the eviction 'very biased and unfair'

A couple of days ago, Shehzad Deol was eliminated from the Bigg Boss 14 house. The Punjabi model was evicted by a consensus decision by the freshers and seniors inside the house. It so happened that on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan had asked the contestants of the house to select one of them to be eliminated from the house. A lot of them voted Shehzad out saying that he was not seen working in the last week. Even when the seniors were asked to pick from the contestants, they voted for Shehzad thus resulting in his elimination. Now, Sargun Mehta has reacted to his eviction and called it a 'very biased and unfair' decision.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the noted actress put up a story and extended her support to Shehzad saying, "Shehzad your Bigg Boss journey started off with quite a bang as you were seen to be one of the strong contenders, but has unfortunately ended on a very biased and unfair note which is upsetting for us all, including your fans who have voted to no end! Though you have been a good sport and very strong through it all, and with the way you have taken things well in your stride, it's going to take you places in life." Check out Sargun's story below:

For those not in the know, Sargun and Shehzad have known each other for a long time. Back in 2018, when Shehzad had participated in Vikas Gupta's Ace Space, he had opened up on his bond with the Punjabi film actress. "I know Sargun, who is a big name in the Punjabi circuit, as I was the Assistant Director in one of her 2016 films. Since then we have become very close, discussing about life and staying positive, which has rubbed off on me," a report in IWMbuzz read.

"She also played a pivotal role in convincing me to try my hand at my previous reality show, Top Model India, which first got me name and fame," Shehzad Added. Furthermore, he said he had grown close to Ravi Dubey as well. "Later, I had lots of discussions with Ravi (Sargun was busy at that time) about whether I should also do Ace Of Space. He very clearly laid out the pros and cons for me, but left the final call to me," Shehzad had said.
