Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai to hit the marquee on Eid 2021?

The year 2020 was a terrible one for movie lovers. Salman Khan fans who were enjoying Eid releases missed out on watching Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai this year. Now, as per a report in mid-day, they have to wait for seven long months to see Salman Khan on the big screen. The tabloid has learnt that the film will release on Eid 2021, a year later. It seems a meeting was held between Salman Khan and producers Atul Agnihotri, Sohail Khan and Nikhil Namit. A source told mid-day that they were eyeing the Republic Day weekend at the initial stage.

A source told mid-day, "However, they were discouraged by the low footfall in theatres ever since they reopened at 50 per cent capacity in several states. Considering Radhe is a big-budget movie, the makers calculated that it will earn in the ballpark of Rs 120 crore, if released in the current circumstances. Taking this into account, the entire team including its worldwide distributors Yash Raj Films felt it would be wise to release it on May 12, 2021, thus keeping Salman's tradition of Eid offerings alive."

When the tabloid asked trade analyst Atul Mohan on his reaction on this decision of the makers, he said, "It's prudent to release Radhe on Eid next year. Internationally, the makers of Fast & Furious too have pushed Fast 9 by a year." The film is an action entertainer. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Gautam Gulati. We don't know how fans of Salman Khan will react on this news.
