Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi shoot for Shakun Batra's next in Mumbai — view pics

The lockdown brought the whole world down on their knees. It literally stopped time for everyone. However, now things are returning back to normal and we are glad. Last year, it was announced that Deepika Padukone would be seen collaborating with Gully Boy fame actor Siddhant Chaturvedi and Pati Patni Aur Woh actress Ananya Panday for Shakun Batra's next. It was supposed to go on floors earlier this year, but the pandemic brought a halt to the shoot. A couple of weeks ago, Deepika Padukone had jetted off to Goa to shoot for the same but was summoned by the NCB officials over her leaked chats. She resumed shoot after being questioned. And yesterday, Deepika and Siddhant were spotted shooting in the city.

In the high-rise, Deepika and Siddhant were seen shooting on the balcony. Deepika wore a bluish trouser with a white top. Siddhant was seen in a white shirt and black pants. They had glasses in their hands. Check out their pictures below:

The film was supposed to be shot in Sri-Lanka but due to the pandemic, the shoot had postponed. It will be produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta. It is scheduled to release for Valentine's Day next year. Earlier, Karan Johar had opened up on the film, saying, "Shakun has directed one of the most acclaimed films of Dharma Productions Kapoor & Sons. With this movie, he also turns producer with us. His upcoming directorial is an intriguing relationship drama, which will release on Valentine's Day 2021. I am proud and excited about Shakun's vision as a versatile filmmaker."

Shakun added, "I have had a wonderful journey with Karan and his production house for almost a decade now, and I can't wait to get back into the director's chair for my next. It's a relationship drama where the characters find themselves stuck in a morally ambiguous zone."
