Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas cannot take their eyes off each other as they celebrate their first Diwali

This year is extra special for Priyanka Chopra as she celebrates her first Diwali with husband Nick Jonas. And she did so. Although she is not in India for the festivities, Priyanka did not forget her roots and made sure to celebrate the festival of lights, saat samundar paar. Priyanka Chopra Jonas celebrated the auspicious occasion with Nick in Cabo, Mexico. The couple was joined by their near and dear ones for the celebrations. The duo decorated the place, they're residing in currently, with lights. And we must say, PeeCee made her first Diwali with Nick, a memorable affair. The couple also welcomed Lakshmi- Ganesha idols at their house.

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Priyanka Chopra was dressed in a yellow floral printed saree that she matched with a golden sleeveless blouse. The actress tied her hair into a neat bun and flaunted her statement earrings. To complete her Diwali look, Priyanka chose to go with a pair of golden footwear. As far as Nick's look is concerned, the singer/actor was decked up in a crisp white shirt paired with jeans. Together they made for a lovely couple.

Priyanka shared images, from her Diwali celebrations, on Instagram. And she captioned the same post as, "Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating. From mine to yours... #diwaliincabo #peaceandprosperity."

Before Diwali, Priyanka had celebrated her first Karva Chauth with Nick at the Jonas Brothers' concert. On the same occasion, Nick had put out a tweet, which read, "My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!"

We totally love how Nick Jonas respects and follows Indian traditions.
