Birthday girl Nehha Pendse to marry Shardul Bayas on THIS date – read exclusive interview
TV and film actress Nehha Pendse has been keeping a low profile of late. However, the actress has got some big plans for the upcoming year. As Pendse turns a year older today, she is all set to announce her next project, a Marathi drama. "There is going to be an announcement of my next Marathi film as I'll share the first look of it today. It's a very special film," Pendse confirmed. And not just that, in an exclusive chat with BollywoodLife, the May I Come in Madam? actress also confirmed the dates when her wedding bells are set to ring.
Talking about her birthday, Pendse revealed that while her morning is going to be normal, with temple visits, and seeking blessings from parents, she will be celebrating the night by throwing a bash for close friends and family. "We are celebrating. I'm throwing a party for all my friends and people I know." When asked what is going to be special about her birthday this year, Pendse coyly mentioned, that it is going to be her fianc Shardul Byas. The two shocked the nation, after breaking the news of their engagement on Instagram with a cushy picture. "(The) Special (element) is that I'll be celebrating it (birthday) with my fianc . He has been the element that has been missing in all my birthdays," Pendse revealed. She also divulged that Shardul already gave her birthday present. "He has already surprised me with a car. That's his style," she mentioned, "Shardul is the one taking all the lead (with regards to the birthday bash). I'm still calm but he is the one who is putting all the excitement in my life."
This year might have been low for the actress on the work front, but she found her ideal match nevertheless. And therefore, this year has been the year of contentment for her. "This is the kind of year, I want all my upcoming years to be. It has been very ideal. There is a lot of contentment in it and I was content with it." Talking about her upcoming year and her modus operandi for it, Nehha added, "I think now that I have the man who can make me happy, I think it's time to focus on my work. I have underplayed my work this year. I did less work because I was waiting for the right kind of work. So all my focus would be on work."
Lastly, Nehha also confirmed with us that she will be tying the knot with Shardul Byas on January 5, in a close-knit family affair in Pune. "I'm getting married in January. It's on the 5th of January, in Pune," she concluded.
