Rajinikanth's Darbar's motion poster
After a lot of anticipation and buzz, the makers Rajinikanth starrer Darbar launched the motion poster of the film and it received a thunderous response from the audience. Celebs like Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu, Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal came together to launch it in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
Bigil shatters Petta's record
Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil continued to dominance in its second week and emerged the biggest Tamil grosser of 2019 at the global box office by grossing over Rs 250 crore. It surpassed the business of Rajinikanth's Petta to achieve this feat.
Pawan Kalyan steps into Amitabh Bachchan for the Telugu remake of Pink
After Thala Ajith, Tollywood superstar stepped in the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan for the Telugu remake of Pink. It will be helmed by Sriram Venu and will be co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju. The working title of the film is PSPK 26. Interestingly, Boney Kapoor also bankrolled the Tamil remake of the film titled Nerkonda Paarvai, which featured Thala Ajith in the lead role. It was a huge blockbuster at the box office.

Two stalwarts of Tollywood, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth unveiled the new statue of late legendary filmmaker K Balachander inside the premises of Raaj Kamal Films International company. The filmmaker was their mentor and had introduced them to the Tamil industry.
Dhruv Vikram's Adithya Varma getting postponed
Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram's Adithya Varma was set to hit the screens on November 8 but due to the delay in censorship, the makers pushed the release to November 21. Adithya Varma, which is the official remake of Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy, marks the acting debut of Dhruv Vikram and also features October fame Banita Sandhu in a lead role.
