For the birthday post, Janhvi wrote, "Happy Birthday Papa you always ask me where I get my energy from papa and I get it from you. Seeing you wake up and doing what you love with more passion every single day, seeing you fall but get up even stronger, seeing you broken but giving us and everyone else strength when they need it. You're the best man I'll ever know. You inspire me, encourage me, you've always been the best dad but now you're my best friend. I love you. I'm going to make you so proud. On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor has begun shooting for Dharma's now-a-franchise, Dostana 2. She will be seen sharing screen space with Pati Patni Aur Woh actor Kartik Aaryan and newcomer Lakshya. Talking about her other projects, Janhvi has finished more than 50 per cent of RoohiAfza which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. RoohiAfza is all set to release next year. Apart from these two, she has The Kargil Girl lined up, which is a biopic on the life of India's first woman Air Force pilot, Gunjan Saxena. The film's first schedule took place in Lucknow. Pankaj Tripathi plays the role of her father in the film. Her cousin Shanaya Kapoor is working as an AD on The Kargil Girl which will hit the silver screens in March 2020.
