The Warrior Queen of Jhansi trailer: Hollywood epic promises to celebrate Jhansi Ki Rani's valour and sacrifice

After Bollywood gave us the Kangana Ranaut starrer, Manikarnika, Hollywood has decided to produce a biopic on Jhansi Ki Rani, titled The Warrior Queen of Jhansi. The makers have dropped the trailer, and boy, does it promise to have done full justice to the great freedom fighter's story. Encompassing her struggle, intrepidity, inspiration, leadership, blood, sweat and sacrifice, the film seems to have tapped into every aspect that made Jhansi Ki Rani such a legendary figure of India's first war of independence. Directed by Swati Bhise, The Warrior Queen of Jhansi stars Devika Bhise in the eponymous role along with Rupert Evertt, Ben Lamb, Derek Jacobi, Jodhi May, Nathaniel Parker, Milind Gunaji, Yatin Karyekar, Arif Zakaria, Mangap Sanap, Nagesh Bhonsle and Ajinkya Deo. It release this Friday, 28^th November 2019, across the country.
