Brahmastra 2: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone to feature in the Ayan Mukerji directorial?

Two years after Padmaavat, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are returning on the big screen with a bang. The now-happily-married couple gave a nod for Kabir Khan's '83, which is ready to release on April 10, 2020. #DeepVeer fans are definitely in for a treat as the real-life lovers will recreate their magic on the silver screen before. Their chemistry has been the HOT topic of discussion ever since they did Sanjay Leela Bhansali's, Ram Leela. Interestingly, their love story began on the sets of SLB's film and there has been no looking back for the two. Meanwhile, before you gear up to watch them as Kapil Dev and Rumi Dev in '83, we have an interesting update about their possible next film.

The film, which Ranveer Singh and Deepika have reportedly signed, is the second installment of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. Believe it or not, this update could be possibly true. While the first part of Brahmastra is still being shot, the couple has already given a heads-up for Brahmastra 2. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Ranveer and Deepika are game for Ayan Mukerji's directorial. However, a confirmation from the duo is awaited. Interestingly, they have given a nod for a project after refusing 3 co-offers.

Meanwhile, Brahmastra features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who are real-life lovers too. We wonder if Ranveer and Deepika will replace Ranbir and Alia in the second installment. Or will they star in the film alongside RK and Alia? Only time will tell. The Ayan Mukerji directorial is a trilogy and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia, and Mouni Roy.

Talking about Brahmastra, Karan had earlier mentioned, "It will be a trilogy and is the most ambitious film we've worked on. Then hopefully, every two years, we will have a new installment of Brahmastra. Ranbir is a big part of Dharma. We have had great innings with him so far and are looking forward to the next one."

Brahmastra releases in Summer, 2020.
