Commando 3: 'Army personnel do have a human side,' says army kid Vidyut Jammwal [EXCLUSIVE]

The third installment of Commando has turned out to be a money-spinner at the box office. Surpassing everyone's expectations, the Vidyut Jammwal and Gulshan Devaiah starrer is doing really well. People have accepted the film with open arms and made it a hit. The entire cast and crew of Commando 3 recently celebrated the success of the film. Before Commando 3 released in cinemas, we sat down for an exclusive chat with Vidyut and Gulshan, who spoke about their respective characters, the Commando franchise, their take on action films and much more. During this chat, we asked Vidyut Jammwal to elaborate more on the human side of his character Karanveer Singh Dogra. Giving references from his own life, the actor said, "My father was in the army. Although people think that army personnel are strong and disciplined, they do have a human side. When it comes to their children, wives or the country, they give everything. They are not only serving the nation but also their families. When they are serving their nation, they are disconnected from their families. Being an army kid, there's a major human side to me. I am happy that director Aditya Datt knows about it. Only a few people know that an army father has the same emotions as a normal father."

Adding to Vidyut's words, his co-star Gulshan stated, "Let's just say that he had to be in touch with this human side for the film. And that's probably what will be different and exciting about Commando 3."

Commando 3 revolves around Vidyut's character (Karanveer), who is approached to chase and catch an Indian criminal gang, who pose a threat to India itself. Stay tuned to BL for more exclusive interviews, news and updates.
