Dabangg 3 box office collection day 8 early estimates: Salman Khan starrer witnesses a dip

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha's Dabangg 3 had a decent run at the box office in its first week. The third installment of Dabangg, directed by Prabhu Deva, managed to earn Rs. 126.55 crore in 7 days of its release. To be honest, the film hasn't fared extremely well as expected. Although it has recovered the budget and earned a profit, Dabangg 3 cannot be termed as a monstrous hit. Salman Khan has admitted that his cop-drama suffered a loss due to the anti-CAA protests which took place a day before his film's release. Nevertheless, on day 8 at the box office, Dabangg 3 has approximated minted just Rs. 3 crore. It has witnessed a major dip and it could be because of tough competition from Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh's Good Newwz, which released yesterday. Dabangg 3 needs to gain momentum soon and we really hope for the same.

Meanwhile, our critic, who watched Dabangg 3, gave 3.5 stars to the film and wrote, "Salman Khan, Salman Khan and Salman Khan. He's back just as how we love watching him, and sends us on a rollercoaster ride with each little mannerism to every punchline to his scene-stealing action sequences. Salman plays to the galley with gleeful abandon after ages and reminds us why he's one of the world's most beloved superstars.

Salman Khan cracking everyone up with his humour

Salman Khan credited the success of his film to his fans and recently said, "In such troubled times, [for the film] to do well is remarkable. All the credit goes to the fans. And fans have been very loyal to me and they have gone [to see the film]. In North India, Section 144 was imposed, so those collections have not come. But they will go and see the film. I mean first, it is their security and then comes Dabangg 3. In other states, we have done pretty well."
