According to an industry insider, "Katrina has been toying with the idea for a long time. While not much is known at this stage, the project seems exciting. She has also been in discussions to tie up with big brands in different spheres, where she feels she will be able to create things that reflect her personality." By doing so, Kat will join the ranks of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma, who have already launched their clothing lines.

On the work front, Katrina will be seen in Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the cop-drama releases on March 27, 2020.
