Not Rajinikanth, but THIS superstar is Salman Khan's favourite Tamil actor

Whenever we talk about Kollywood or Tamil film industry, first-person comes to our mind is megastar Thalaivar Rajinikanth. The 69-year-old star known for his cool swag, enjoys a huge fan following across the globe. Even during the first look of 2.0 at Mumbai, we saw Salman Khan gatecrashing, when he came to know that Rajinikanth is present at the event. Recently, when the Bhaijaan of Bollywood flew to Chennai for the promotion of Dabangg 3, he was asked in a chat show that, who is his favourite Tamil actor and the actor was not Rajinikanth but another Kollywood superstar, which is Thala Ajith. He also said that his favourite Tamil film Vaali, where Thala plays dual characters.

With Salman Khan revealing his favourite film Vaali, we might wish that he could star if this film gets a Bollywood remake. Meanwhile, his latest release Dabangg 3 is enjoying a good run at the ticket windows. The film is expected to earn over Rs 75 crore at the ticket windows in its opening weekend. Directed by Prabhudheva, the film also features Saiee Manjrekar, Sonakshi Sinha and Kichcha Sudeepa in key roles. It marks the second collaboration between director and Salman Khan after Wanted.

Salman Khan has also done the script writing about the film. Talking about the writing process of Dabangg 3, Salman Khan told us, "It just happened. We were talking that we should make Dabangg 3 and we were wondering what could Dabangg 3 be about and then we though that we should start it from the beginning and everything started falling into place. Just the fact we thought about this started everything and then we explored how he (his character) became Chulbul Pandey. This idea also just came about. So then, Arbaaz and I watched the film (the previous two parts) again and we started brainstorming ideas and it was through this brainstorming session that we got our story. Then we added action and songs as they were needed because everything else already came to us."
