Recap 2019: Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor gave us some of disastrous fashion moments of the year
The year 2019 was a very eventful one in the world of Bollywood. Needless to say, some fashion moments were also a part of it. While some actors and actress made us stare with their awesome sartorial outings, other left us with a sigh. Here are five disappointing instances from the red carpets...
Deepika Padukone
For the IIFA Awards held in Mumbai, Deepika Padukone wore a custom made lavender gown from Gaurav Gupta's label. The gown was a shimmering one with a long feathery trail that had to be managed by Ranveer Singh. Everyone said that if there was a desi version of a MET Gala outfit, it had to be this one.
Sonam Kapoor
The actress wore a saree with a floor-length jacket for an awards show in the Middle East. It would still have been okay if it weren't for a maathapatti that looked straight out of the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Janhvi Kapoor
The starlet is one of the most gorgeous young ladies in town. However, her outfit at the Vogue Awards led to many questions. One of them was if the dress from House Of ExC was a rip-off of Mihani Momosa. Janhvi is a pretty girl but this dress did nothing for her.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Cannes is one thing we always look forward to. This year, she made her first appearance in a Jean Louis Sabaji gown. It did not highlight her natural beauty and the overall look failed to impress.
Adah Sharma
The Commando actress is known for her love for quirk. However, with this outfit she left us confused.
