Video of the week: Disha Vakani has a stiff competition in a college going Dayaben

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved and longest-running comedy shows on television. The show began in 2008 and is still the favourite of many, with each character from the show having a separate fan base. The popularity of the show is so huge that now Whatsapp stickers of the characters from the show have also been introduced. Disha Vakani aka Daya ben has been missing from the show for almost two years now. Disha Vakani, who plays Daya ben, had gone a maternity leave and she has not returned yet. Fans have been eagerly waiting for her to return back. However, her absence has not affected the show's performance.

This week, the show has received the highest TRPs and has become the number one show on television. Recently, there were reports of Disha Vakani returning to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah but once again, it did not happen. Reports also said that she will be replaced. A video has been doing rounds on the internet where a college-going girl is imitating Daya ben and fans have loved her performance. Her expression, accent and body language seems so perfect and she surely can be Daya ben. The video sees this girl enacting a scene from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Daya in front of her classmates and we are just watching this video again and again. This video has taken the internet by storm and we feel she can be a great replacement for Disha Vakani as Daya. Fans want the makers to consider her for Daya ben if Disha Vakani is not returning.
