Chhapaak: Ranveer Singh is all praise for Deepika Padukone, says 'I've never been more proud of you'

Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak releases today. The film has been in the news ever since the movie had been announced. Fans are already excited to see Deepika Padukone as Malti and Vikrant Massey as Amol. Chhapaak is a thought-provoking film based on the life of acid attack survivor and crusader, Laxmi Aggarwal. The film's screening was held yesterday and Ranveer Singh was quick to appreciate his lady love's performance in the film. Ranveer took to his Instagram handle and penned down a heartfelt note praising the film and Deepika's hardwork. Ranveer appreciated Meghna Gulzar for a film like Chapaak.

He wrote, "Meghna, your film gives the audience hope and courage. It shows you the best and worst of humanity in a kaleidoscopic cinematic spectrum. It elucidates a subject that we've only ever heard of but never really fully understood. It offers a definitive and insightful deep-dive into the horrific gamut of acid violence. Chhapaak has received a lot of mixed reviews from the critics. Deepika and Vikrant Massey have been lauded for their performance in the film. The film will clash with Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior today.
